What this class is for
Do you or your child struggle with making friends, understanding nonverbal social cues, having conversations with others or maintaining relationships?
We can help!
This class is a place to practice those things on purpose, with people working on the same things.
What the class works on

Taking turns, playing fair, and staying in the game when it does not go your way.

Starting a conversation, keeping it going, and staying on topic while you do.

Reading nonverbal cues, keeping the right amount of personal space, and keeping a friendship going once it starts.

Saying hello to someone new, walking up to a group, and asking to join in.

What does a class look like?
- One social skill is taught by itself then practiced in a group setting
- Groups are hand selected and taught with the help of certified assistant(s)
- Learners will practice game play, and have the opportunity to initiate conversations naturally.
There is a game in every class, and snack time is conversation practice too.
By improving social skills, participants will be better equipped to:
- Initiate and sustain friendships in a community setting
- Participate in employment or volunteer opportunities
- Increase confidence in social settings
- Navigate and generalize social situations in the community setting
